Wither Pluto?

According to a Wired news story, nearly 2,500 astronomers from 75 different countries are going to do something that most people
thought has been done already: Come up with a definition of what constitutes a planet.
Oh, and if Pluto is one or not.
The fate of Pluto as a planet or as a big assed Kuiper Belt object, rests in their capable hands and the battle lines have been drawn
already with both pro-Pluto-as-planet and con-Pluto-as-planet camps.
I for one like the idea of defining different types of planets, which would make Pluto an "Ice dwarf planet".
